Thoughts On: Santino and The Funkasaurus

It appears that Santino has found himself a new ally in the romping stomping Funkasaurus. Some people may look at this pairing and say, “Come on, Brodus is over enough to be pushed as a singles competitor.” or “Way to devalue the U.S. Title by putting the champion in a tag team.” Anyone who agrees with the second sentiment needs to pump the breaks. We don’t know that they’ll be anything more than allies, and they might only be pairing them up long enough to feud with Ziggler and Swagger. Anyone who agrees with Brodus being over enough to be pushed solo, I’m right there with you. That doesn’t mean that aligning him with Santino is a bad idea, though. For as over as Brodus has become in such a short period of time, Santino is twice as over. This is a smart decision. I don’t they’ll be paired up long, but I think it’s definitely going to benefit The Funkasaurus. You know who else it’s going to benefit? US. These two are capable of creating some highly entertaining segments and matches, so let’s enjoy our funky ride on the cobra. Wow, that sounded way better in my head than it looks in writing. Oh well.
